CompTIA A+ with Tech+

CompTIA A+ certification validates that you have the core tech skills for IT support roles, and it is a requirement for many entry-level IT help desk jobs.

Those who do not have prior IT experience should start with the CompTIA Tech+ certification and training before they start A+ training.

Tech+ is an introduction to basic information technology terminology, knowledge, and skills.

These self-paced online trainings teach the core skills associated with the CompTIA Tech+, A+ Core 1, and A+ Core 2 certification exams, as well as preparing you to take the certification exams.

This training bundle includes:

  • Online training: One year of access to CompTIA CertMaster Learn for Tech+, A+ Core 1, and A+ Core 2. Learn the required skills and prepare for the test with comprehensive self-paced online training from CompTIA. CertMaster Learn includes full coverage of the exam objectives, plus practice exam questions and a timed final assessment that simulates the real exam.
  • Online labs: One year of access to CompTIA Labs for Tech+ and A+. These online labs allow you to apply your skills and practice in a hands-on virtual (online) lab environment. Note: labs are conveniently integrated into the CertMaster Learn A+ Training. Tech+ includes separate Labs.
  • Exam vouchers: vouchers to take the Tech+, A+ Core 1 and A+ Core 2 exams. NOTE: exam vouchers do not include a “retake” option.

NOTE: because this is a fully self-paced program, there is not an instructor available to answer questions or help participants understand the material.

For all new registrations beginning July 1, 2022: to help ensure you will be prepared for the exam, you will be required to successfully complete your CompTIA training course prior to receiving your CompTIA exam voucher.

When you complete your training course, you can request the exam voucher(s) via the Exam Access Request Form.

We will review and confirm your course completion status prior to sending you the exam voucher(s).

Cancellations: University of Arizona Online Professional Studies reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to low enrollment, you will be notified at least one week prior to class start date and given the option of a full refund or, in some cases, transferring to a different class.
